CricEdge uses machine learning models trained on over 160,000 T20 cricket matches to generate real-time win probability predictions. The system combines team ELO ratings, recent form across the last five matches, venue-specific historical factors, and phase-level scoring analytics to produce calibrated pre-match and live win probabilities for every T20 fixture across IPL, PSL, BBL, CPL, T20 Blast, SA20 and the T20 World Cup.
Win probabilities update ball by ball during live matches. A sudden shift — from 55% to 75% — marks a decisive moment: a wicket cluster, a batting acceleration, or a required rate that has become structurally unreachable. Each update reflects the actual current game state within 200 milliseconds of a ball being bowled, powered by ONNX runtime inference on the CricEdge server.
Pre-match predictions include the ELO rating gap between teams, recent form momentum, venue win-rate history, and an AI confidence score indicating model certainty given the available pre-match data. Predictions are available for all scheduled matches 48 hours before the first ball is bowled.
